Le giornate europee del patrimonio, promosse nel 1991 dal Consiglio d’Europa e dal 1999 anche dalla Commissione Europea, aprono ogni anno a settembre, le porte di monumenti e siti storici, artistici e naturalistici.
Ogni anno viene proposto un nuovo tema ed una nuova grafica che vengono pubblicato sul sito istituzionale europeo. L’Archivio di Stato aderisce a questa iniziativa dal 2013.
